Lynette now focuses on her yoga teaching, meditation & related holistic projects. Her Yoga classes are now very much centred around the principles and techniques of Yoga Chi Gung, which she has found better supports students by providing significantly higher physical & mental capabilities than other doctrines for their day to day well-being & lifestyle. Lynette has been a member of Yoga Australia and an accredited Yoga Teacher since 1999.
In more recent years, Lynette broadened her holistic capabilities by expanding into synergistic areas of interest which greatly compliment her initial Yoga Chi Gung skills, and which adds value to the benefits & usefulness of her work programs within the community. In addition to her local activities, workshop programs, seminars and online webinars within Australia, Lynette now hosts, facilitates or takes a regular active role in innovative new holistic education programs and webinars involving highly regarded international campuses which she visits regularly (sometimes taking groups of her students) for educational programs, specialised self-development work-shops & seminars.
In conjunction with her husband (Wayne), she has been primarily responsible for organising and hosting a multitude of very successful and popular holistic events over the past several years at venues including Hervey Bay, Sunshine Coast, India and Bali. The largest and most personally satisfying events to date have involved sponsoring several highly acclaimed international speakers and their unique personal development/well-being programs to Australia for numerous 3-day seminars involving 80 – 150 attendees per event. Others involved co-ordinating overseas group tours to holistic education campuses (such as One World Academy in Chennai), and hosting several alternative music concert appearances (by Sacred Earth and other similar performers) for the benefit of students and the local community. Lynette’s main motivation & mission behind her traditional Yoga teaching role, is her desire to perform a humanitarian service by being actively involved as a ‘social entrepreneur’ in making more and more worthwhile holistic activities & events available and affordable to local and Australian communities.
